Swiss watch manufacturer Frederique Constant Geneve, known for its classical and refined timepieces of exceptional value, is delighted to present a new model of Horological Smartwatch, powered by MotionX®, as an exclusive preview of its 2016 novelties.

With the introduction of 5 new in-house calibers and the launch of the MotionX® powered Horological Smartwatch, 2015 was an important year for Frederique Constant. Indeed, Frederique Constant shipped over 16’000 Horological Smartwatches, more than any other Swiss watch manufacture. In 2016, Frederique Constant will thus progressively introduce new and unexpected functionalities to the current Horological Smartwatch module. In foresight, of what we can expect to see this year, Frederique Constant is introducing an updated version of its innovative timepiece for Baselworld. Indeed, in addition to its activity and sleep monitoring functions, the brand is adding a worldtimer function to its Horological Smartwatch; a clear invitation for globetrotters to travel.

New Worldtimer function

Conceived to meet the needs of long-distance travellers, the new worldtimer function is essential for those who regularly roam the planet. They can check their home time, whilst keeping track of current time wherever they are. Every time the watch synchronizes with the user’s smartphone the date and time are adjusted, giving complete control over time zone changes. Once an additional time zone has been selected, three pressures of the pusher will display the time in another part of the world on the analogue dial of the watch. Keeping track of local time will become a breeze with the Frederique Constant’s Horological Smartwatch. The new functionality can also be added to previous models of the Horological Smartwatch by simply updating the MotionX-365® app.

This Horological Smartwatch comes with a 42mm highly-polished rose gold plated steel case and a captivating navy blue dial that features applied indexes and roman numerals. A convex sapphire crystal protects the delightfully beautiful dial. The watch is waterproof up to 50 metres and finished with a stunning blue alligator leather strap.
