Bulgari and Venetian heritage hosted the unofficial opening of the Venice Bennale

Venice, 9 May 2015 – Within the enchanting setting of Venice, Bulgari acted as the main sponsor this year’s Venetian Heritage Gala, the unofficial opening event of the Venice Biennale, one of the most important contemporary art exhibitions in the world.

At the Gala event, Marchesa Valentina Marini Clarelli Nasi presented Peter Marino with an award celebrating his lifelong achievements as well as his continued commitment towards preserving the treasure that is Venice.

With its origins deeply rooted in 2700 years of Italian artistic beauty, Bulgari felt a strong sense of commitment in supporting this honorable cause. Bulgari together with renowned architect and friend of the brand, Peter Marino, disclosed a list of two paintings namely Saint Jerome In The Desert and Saint Agatha in Jail Visited By Saint Peter And An Angel which are to be restored and salvaged thanks to their donations.

To the delight of all, an exquisite exhibition of unique high jewelry pieces transported guests through some of Bulgari’s most iconic signs such as Serpenti and Diva.
