LOS ANGELES – JANUARY 10, 2016

Piaget timepieces were the top choice for Hollywood’s brightest stars at the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards. Nominee and winner, Matt Damon, accepted his award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Comedy or Musical for his role in “The Martian,” wearing a Piaget Gouverneur Chronograph timepiece in white gold. His wife, Luciana Damon, wore a pair of elegant diamond earrings from the Piaget Limelight Jazz Party collection, along with the Magic Gardens of Piaget cascade diamond bracelet to accompany her husband on the red carpet.

Once again, the Piaget Altiplano was a red carpet favorite, proving to be the ultimate black tie accessory for Hollywood’s leading men, including first-time nominee, Paul Dano, who was recognized for his supporting role in the film, “Love & Mercy.” He completed his sleek formal look with a Piaget Altiplano 40mm in white gold.

“Empire” star, Terrence Howard, presented Best Television Series – Comedy, and opted for a gem-set Piaget Altiplano 41mm high jewelry rose gold timepiece featuring a total of 577 diamonds, a Piaget Possession band in rose gold with diamonds and Piaget Black Tie cufflinks in rose gold with onyx. Upand- coming star, Sam Heughan of the TV series “Outlander,” arrived on the red carpet  wearing the Piaget Altiplano 40mm in platinum with a grey dial.

Earlier in the weekend, Piaget celebrated the annual Film Independent Filmmaker and Spirit Nominee Brunch at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood. “Orange Is the New Black” star, Uzo Aduba, co-hosted the event and accented her outfit with a Piaget Limelight Gala timepiece and Possession rings, adding just the right amount of sophistication to her daytime look. The Nominee Brunch also honored the work of the Filmmaker Grants nominees, including the prestigious Piaget Producers Award. Mel Eslyn, known for “My Sister’s Sister” and “The One I Love,” won the award.

Michael B. Jordan looked dashing in a rose gold Piaget Altiplano 38mm timepiece and khaki suit, as he attended the Los Angeles Film Critics Awards, held at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, in to support his film “Creed.” Piaget has a longstanding love affair with Hollywood and a commitment to supporting cinema and the arts.
