The Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Limited Edition Latin America and Caribbean is presented to celebrate, with the fans of classic motorsports and Latin American collectors, the three decades of Chopard as official timekeeper and main sponsor of the Mille Miglia.

The unprecedented design takes up the emblematic lines of the Mille Miglia GTS range, inspired by the cars that participated from 1941 to 1957 in the most important sporting event of the Italian calendar, and the movement with power reserve, produced in the workshops of Fleurier Ebauches. For a piece that exalts the passion for classic motorsports in Latin America, where “la corsa più bella del mondo” has many followers.

The link of Chopard and the Mille Miglia is the result of the fascination of Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, co-president of Chopard, for old cars. Collector and amateur pilot, who participates every year in the race that runs the route to and from Brescia and Rome.

Conceived as a navigation aid to wear on the wrist, the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Limited Edition Latin America and Caribbean is dedicated to the most famous and followed classic race in Italy, at the same time, it shows a unique aspect for its followers in the region.

The model with power reserve of the Mille Miglia GTS collection is the starting point for the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Limited Edition Latin America and Caribbean, and is renewed thanks to an unprecedented chromatic combination.

The steel case, 43mm in diameter, preserves the beauty of the curved lugs, shaped to provide maximum comfort to the user. In its dial, dominates the blue color, harmonized with touches in gray and white and oversized numerals 6 and 12, which evoke the aesthetics of classic cars.

Classic Racing vintage elements are located in the power reserve indicator; set at 9 o’clock, reminiscent of the instruments of the 1950s cars; while at 3 o’clock has the date, framed by the arrow of the Mille Miglia logo, just as the numbers applied on the doors and the hoods of the competing vehicles.

The Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Limited Edition Latin America and Caribbean is available in steel and has two straps; one of rubber that is sporty and inspired by the Dunlop tires of classic cars of the 60s, and the other in alligator.

Like its predecessors, the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Limited Edition Latin America and Caribbean has a Chopard movement. The caliber 01.08-C, which has been fully developed, conceived and assembled in the workshops of Fleurier Ebauches.

The precision, certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC), is an essential emblem, both for Chopard and for the pilots, and is shown with the mention “Chronometer” on the dial. In addition, the power reserve of more than 60 hours, one of its main characteristics, gives it the maximum reliability to stay on time, after having remained at rest.

Like the collection cars, this limited edition consists of only 60 pieces, so its production ensures maximum quality and performance, like a racing car. The watch will be available at Chopard boutiques and its distributor network in Latin America and Caribbean.
