Here is a watch that for some is the holy grail of Chopard Mille Miglia watches. It combines just about everything that people like from the timepiece collection, and is a limited edition on top of that – of only 500 pieces. I am pretty psyched about this watch, and look forward to spending some time with one, you know… alone. The case is the GT XL style, meaning it is 44mm wide, and has those cool integrated chronograph pushers and crown guards.

Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL Chronograph Limited Edition Watch
This is an interesting marriage between a horse racing event, and a watch based on a historic measuring device that was designed to measure horse racing times. It is one of the few times I have actually seen a watch fit so well with the event that the manufacturer is sponsoring. This year Montblanc watches will be the promotional partner for the 26th Breeder’s Cup World Championship horse racing event. A highly regarded racing event noteworthy for the class of riders as well as the impressive thoroughbred horses that participate.
To me, this interesting watch is Chopard’s version of the highly beloved Breitling Aerospace timepieces. A rare breed of accepted quartz movement watches in a world of mechanical movements.
We have seen Baume & Mercier move both up and down market over the past few years, but I predict they will focus on entry level luxury timepieces for the foreseeable future. As such, they have released four new timepieces with the Classima Executives moniker that are handsome and affordable.
